Access to COVID-19 Vaccinations for Prioritized Groups Increases
Summit County offers vaccinations to residents of surrounding counties
Lake County Public Health Agency (LCPHA), St. Vincent Health (SVH) and Rocky Mountain Family Practice (RMFP) have experienced great success vaccinating the 70-plus age group.
The 70-plus population, medical workers, and first responders continue to be prioritized. If you are in these groups in Lake County you are encouraged to make a vaccination appointment at SVH or RMFP. The offices can be reached at: St. Vincent Medical Clinic (719) 486-1264 and Rocky Mountain Family Practice (719) 486-0500.
Additionally, Summit County has opened up their vaccinations to neighboring counties. If you or a family member resides in a neighboring county to Summit County, and are 70 years and older, you may make an appointment to receive the vaccine in Summit County. Scheduling information is available here.
You are encouraged to get vaccinated when your age group is prioritized. COVID-19 vaccination can end the pandemic and save lives. Until vaccines are widely available, continue to avoid in-person interactions, physically distance from others, wash your hands frequently and wear a mask.
